From the clay-rich soils of the Veneto plains, Anno Domini crafts a bold and luxurious interpretation of two noble grapes — Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon — united in perfect harmony. Aged in terracotta amphorae (“le argille”), this unique wine allows pure varietal character to shine without the influence of oak, expressing depth, elegance, and terroir with stunning clarity.
Deep ruby red in colour, it opens with intense aromas of blackcurrant, plum, wild herbs, and tobacco, enriched by hints of pepper, graphite, and balsamic notes. The palate is full-bodied and refined, offering layers of dark fruit, velvety tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, savoury finish that is both powerful and incredibly smooth.
Innovative yet rooted in tradition, this “Cabernet di Cabernet” is a masterful example of amphora ageing — pure, expressive, and beautifully balanced.
