From the rolling hills of the Chianti region in Tuscany, Marco Gavio presents a vibrant and expressive interpretation of the noble Sangiovese grape — the 2020 Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. Crafted with traditional respect and refined modern techniques, this wine reflects both heritage and finesse, offering a true taste of Tuscany’s iconic terroir.
Deep ruby red in colour, it opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, violets, and dried herbs, enriched by subtle hints of cedar, tobacco, and spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied and finely textured, delivering juicy red fruit, bright acidity, fine-grained tannins and a beautifully balanced structure, culminating in a lingering and savoury finish.
Confidently rooted in tradition, yet crafted for today’s palate, this Chianti Classico is elegant, expressive and thoroughly authentic.
