Made from carefully selected Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo grapes, this wine boasts a characteristic bouquet of cherry, leather, and cedar flavors.
The round and fruity mouthful, with hints of liquorice and tar, will leave you wanting more.
GRAPES: 90% Sangiovese, 5% Ciliegiolo, 5% Canaiolo.
RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: pasta dishes like Bolognese and lasagna, grilled meats such as steak, lamb and pork chops, tomato-based dishes, hard cheese such as Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano, roasted vegetables like mushrooms, eggplant and bell peppers.
