DESCRIPTION: This Cannonau di Sardegna is a true expression of climatic and environmental characteristics of Sardinia, where this grape, internationally known as Grenache, found the best habitat. As the Piero Canopoli, director and chief winemaker at Murales winery simply put it: "this wine is the essence of the terroir, with very little intervention of the man".
Deep ruby red wine.
Unique mineral aromas coming from the terroir, with hints of Mediterranean grassland and seaweed. Fruity on the nose with blackberry and dark cherry, tobacco, liquorice, black pepper and leather.
Pleasantly tannic, with a well balanced acidity and impressive long finish.
The harvesting process is carried out exclusively by hand and only a limited quantity is released every year. Decanting is recommended.
GRAPES: 100% Cannonau (Grenache)
RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: wonderful with roasted meats, casseroles, baked fish and aged cheese.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18°C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 15%

WINE STORAGE: Between 12 and 16°C, away from direct sources of light, avoiding excessively dry conditions.
