A regal expression of Piedmont’s beloved Barbera grape, Monarca embodies the elegance and strength of its royal name. Produced by Terre Sabaude from carefully selected hillside vineyards in Alba, this Barbera Superiore is aged to enhance its depth, balance, and silky complexity.
Deep ruby red with violet reflections, it opens with aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and blackberry, layered with hints of vanilla, cocoa, and sweet spice from its time in oak. The palate is full-bodied yet graceful — rich fruit, vibrant acidity, and fine tannins intertwine beautifully, leading to a long, refined finish.
