Rich, generous and full of southern Italian character, this Primitivo di Manduria is packed with ripe blackberry, plum and black cherry flavours, layered with notes of vanilla, cocoa and sweet spice. The palate is smooth and velvety, with soft tannins and a long, warming finish.
It's a wine that shines alongside slow-cooked meats, barbecued steaks and hearty pasta dishes, but it's equally enjoyable by the fire with a good cheese board.
