From the sun-drenched coastal vineyards of western Sicily, Firriato presents a vibrant and expressive interpretation of one of the island’s finest native white grapes — 2024 Altavilla della Corte Grillo D.O.C. Sicilia. Grown at altitude and influenced by cooling sea breezes, this Grillo combines Mediterranean richness with striking freshness, showcasing the elegance and purity of Sicilian terroir.
Pale straw yellow with green reflections, it opens with intense aromas of citrus, white peach, tropical fruit, and orange blossom, enriched by hints of sage, sea breeze, and mineral notes. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, offering juicy fruit, lively acidity, and a refined saline character that adds depth and precision. The finish is long, fresh, and delicately savoury, leaving a clean and elegant impression.
Refreshing, aromatic, and unmistakably Sicilian, this Grillo is a superb example of the variety — bright, coastal, and wonderfully refined.
