From the warm southern vineyards of Puglia, Caldirola presents a generous and approachable expression of one of Italy’s most iconic grapes — Sangiovese I.G.T. Puglia. Ripened under the Mediterranean sun and crafted in a smooth, fruit-driven style, this wine showcases the softer, richer side of Sangiovese while retaining its signature freshness and food-friendly character.
Bright ruby red in colour, it opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherry, red plum, and raspberry, gently layered with notes of violet, sweet spice, and a hint of earthiness. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, offering juicy red fruit, soft tannins, and balanced acidity that make it highly drinkable and versatile. The finish is clean, fruity, and pleasantly savoury, encouraging the next sip.
