MONARCA is a refined Barbera d'Alba Superiore that combines vibrant fruit with the extra depth and complexity gained through maturation. Layers of ripe cherry, blackberry and plum are complemented by subtle notes of vanilla, spice and a touch of toasted oak, while Barbera's naturally bright acidity keeps the wine fresh and balanced.
It's a classic food wine that comes into its own alongside slow-cooked ragù, roast meats, mushroom dishes and aged cheeses.
